One of the most important aspects of staying organized is starting from the space around you, your home, your workplace, your workstation (if it’s at home), but also your desk in the office or in a coworking space.

Also creating folders in your bookmarks on your browser or desktop is exceptionally good for finding important things fast. They can be divided into sections, groups. As a personal example, we have separate folders for music, separate for anything connected with work, with sub catalogs for specific companies or contracts.
3. Establish Your Goals

Setting clear goals helps you with keeping track of what’s important. You do not need to have everything planned by the minute, but make sure to know what is important to you at this stage of your life.
Maybe you started a new hobby and want to have time to pursue that passion every day, so it’s at the top of your priority list alongside work, maybe you want to get healthier and implement some physical activity to your daily routine, then that will be of importance and so on and so forth.

4. Develop a Routine

No one should live their life like clockwork, however, being able to effectively organize your day, and squeeze the most out of it is rewarding, especially considering that the only thing we can be certain of is that time is limited.
5. Stay Disciplined
The hardest part of staying organized is consistency and being disciplined enough to do so day by day. Many people are excited while planning their day or week, or trip, but it all falls flat when it must last for a while longer than a couple of days.
There is always something spontaneous that will discourage you from continuing that journey, however, you need to understand that there will always be something unpredictable.
It is impossible to predict everything and have an answer for every question, reaction to every action. It does not mean that organization and routine is useless. Quite the contrary, you need to accept that unpredictability is a part of that routine, and never feel bad because you had a day off. Tomorrow is always another day.
What we mean by that is many people after they deviate even slightly from the routine give up on it completely. The important thing to understand is that just because today didn’t go as planned, does not mean everything up to this point does not count.
If you eat healthily for 7 days for example, and you eat a slice of pizza on the 8th day, it does not mean that you failed and need to give up and start over. You can accomplish your routine on another day, and another, so do not get discouraged because something happened that was not planned. Accept it as part of the routine, and stick with it, and organization will be easier than ever.
